An exquisite Antique Mourning locket crafted in solid 18ct Yellow Gold during the mid Victorian era, Circa 1860. It features fabulous indented vertical stripes along the front and back with decorative rope detailing running down the inside of each.

The locket is complete with rims and windows within along with a wonderful display of hair and fine Gold wires which have been skilfully curled to create a beautiful centrepiece for the locket. This can be removed if preferred so you can add your own cherished memories.

The locket is solid with a good weight to it and the Gold has developed a pleasing rosy hue over the years. It would look beautiful on a Gold chain.
